As we approach Spring Break, the excitement is building throughout the school! With just one week to go, students and staff are working hard while looking forward to a well-deserved rest. This past week may have been quiet, but our classrooms remain full of learning, curiosity, and connection.
In this edition, you'll find important reminders about Spring Break dates, School Conferences, ways for you to provide feedback, and more.

School Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are fast approaching! Conferences provide an excellent opportunity to meet between families and teachers to discuss student academic progress and goals. For March, all interviews will be online using the Microsoft Teams platform. When you book an appointment, an email will be sent to you with a link to the meeting.
Our interview dates and times are:
- Thursday, March 20 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Friday, March 21 from 8:00am – 1:00pm
Bookings are open for parents through the MyCBE Application.
Lost and Found
Have you misplaced something? Be sure to check the Lost & Found before it's too late! Any unclaimed items will be donated on March 21. Visit the Lost & Found today to reclaim your belongings. We will be moving the Lost and Found into the front hallway to make it easier for families to look through lost items.
School Surveys
- School Planning Feedback Survey
We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we are asking you to share your perspectives about our school development plan, school budget and school fees.
The survey is open from March 5 to March 31, 2025.

- Assurance Survey | Grade 4
In its ongoing commitment to providing a world-class education for Alberta’s children, Alberta Education will once again conduct its annual survey of grade 4 students and their parents or guardians. This survey will gather essential information about students’ and parents’ school experiences, helping to drive continuous improvements in our education system. This survey will remain open from February 18, 2025, to March 21, 2025.
Parents or guardians of grade 4 students should have received an email from School Improvement containing a link to the survey along with a unique Random-Access Code and detailed instructions.
We strongly encourage all eligible parents and guardians to participate and share their feedback on their children’s education. Survey participants will be asked about various topics, including:
• creating welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe learning environments;
• student learning engagement; and
• parental involvement in children’s education.
If you require a paper survey or one in another language, such as Ukrainian, Punjabi, Cree, Korean, Denesųłįné, Tagalog, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, or Urdu, please reach out to the school via email or phone.
By completing the survey, you are assisting Alberta Education, CBE, and our school in identifying both areas of strength and areas that need improvement. Please ensure that you complete the survey by March 21, 2025.
- CBE Student Survey | Grades 5-6
Falconridge will be participating in an online school perception survey for students called the CBE Student Survey. Details of the survey have been sent out in previous communications. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Healthy Hunger
As we enter spring time, our Parent Council has setup a number of Healthy Hunger/ Fun Lunch opportunities for Falconridge School. Our next Fun Lunch will be next week on March 20 with orders due today, March 15.
See below for the remaining dates for the year. You can pre-order for any of them by logging into the Healthy Hunger website at any time.
- March 20 – Subway (Orders Due Saturday, March 15)
- April 9 – Pizza 73 (Orders Due Friday, April 4)
- April 23 – McDonald’s (Orders Due Friday, April 18)
- May 7 – Subway (Orders Due Friday, May 2)
- May 28 – Pizza 73 (Orders Due Friday, May 23)
- June 25 – McDonald’s (Orders Due Friday, June 20)
To place an order, please log into your Healthy Hunger account and add your children’s names for Falconridge School. You will need to do this again every year even if you ordered food last year. Please ensure you choose the correct grade and teacher when registering your child and then order lunches.
