Good Afternoon, Falconridge families! 

As we approach the final two weeks of the school year, we want to thank you for your continued support and remind you that student safety remains our top priority. With changing weather conditions, we are closely monitoring the air quality each day. Should the levels be deemed at risk or high, we will promptly shift our activities indoors to ensure a healthy environment for all students. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these last weeks together!

Volunteer Tea 

Throughout the year our classes have had a wide array of experiences, from in-school presentations and reading groups to field trips throughout the city. We could not do any of these things without our volunteers. 

On June 20 from 11:00-11:45 we are hosting a volunteer tea to show our appreciation for the people that have volunteered their time to support our classes. Volunteers, please refer to the invitation sent to you directly and we hope to see you there! 

Report Cards 

Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students starting Wednesday, June 25 until July 25, 2025 through MyCBE. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. 

How is My Child Doing in School? 

Report cards summarize and communicate student achievement at a point in time. In addition to the report card, schools communicate with parents/guardians about student progress on an ongoing basis in a variety of ways. 

Last Day for Library Book Exchange 

As the end of the year approaches, we are set to take inventory and organize our Learning Commons for the 2025-2026 school year. As we look to do this, we will have our final day for book exchange on June 13 with all books being returned between June 16-20. Thank you for your support of our Learning Commons.  

Bus Registration 

If your child is eligible for transportation for the 2025-26 school year, a communication would have been sent to you as recently as this morning. If you intend to have your child take the bus next year, you are required to register them for this service. This registration is separate than the registration for school and must be completed annually. 

Families eligible for bussing must register by Sunday, June 22 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year. 

How to Register | Registration is available using your MyCBE account. (If you do not already have an account, learn how to create one.) 

There is no financial obligation to register now. Families have until September 30, 2025 to cancel without being charged the annual transportation fee. 

We will continue to accept late registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times for late registrations could be up to six (6) weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume. and Families may have to make alternate arrangements to get children to and from the school during this time.

Note: Conditional rider forms will be available after registration closes on June 22, 2025. 

Healthy Hunger 

Our Parent Council has setup a number of Healthy Hunger/ Fun Lunch opportunities for Falconridge School throughout the year. Our next and final Fun Lunch will be June 25. 

See below for the remaining dates for the year. You can pre-order for any of them by logging into the Healthy Hunger website at any time. 

• June 25 – McDonald’s (Orders Due Friday, June 20) 

To place an order, please log into your Healthy Hunger account and add your children’s names for Falconridge School. You will need to do this again every year even if you ordered food last year. Please ensure you choose the correct grade and teacher when registering your child and then order lunches.
