Traffic Safety
As we aim to create a safe environment on the way to and from school, we will be sharing out key safety messages in the newsletters as we approach and throughout October. Within this first such section, we wanted to draw attention to some safety tips for our drivers.
Drivers:
* Be patient, even when you are running late. Take time to make safe and smart decisions.
* Obey the posted speed limit and drive cautiously when children are present.
* Scan for pedestrians between parked vehicles as pedestrians may step out unexpectedly.
* Do not enter school bus loading zones, stop or park in designated zones only so buses can safely pull into their designated space.
* Avoid making U-turns in a playground zone or near crosswalks.
* Always obey school safety patrols.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Event

This important event is a collaboration between the City of Calgary, CBE, Calgary Catholic School District, Calgary Police Service and Calgary Fire Department.
