Professional Learning Time 

This afternoon our team spent time working alongside a specialist from the Calgary Board of Education around best practices in using the digital displays that are in our classrooms. This included ways for our team to be more efficient and increase student participation so more time is spent focused on student learning in our classrooms and less on problem solving with the technology.

 

Wet Floors 

As the weather continues to shift and snow is on the ground we ask that families please take off their wet shoes/boots when they come into the school. This will make for a safer and more welcoming environment for all our school community members with no wet floors at the start and end of our school day. 

 

Lost and Found 

Our lost and found continues to grow and we encourage families to come and find water bottles, coats, gloves and so much more. Ask at the office where it is and we can help return these items to your families. 

 

Traffic Safety 

We remind families again to please use the marked crosswalks and follow the signage around the front of our school. We have too many vehicles making unsafe choices and too many students and families illegally crossing not at crosswalks. We have sent out safety information in previous messages and will again in the New Year.
